Horta asks presidential candidates not to threaten people


The incumbent President of Timor Leste, Jose Ramos Horta has asked presidential candidates both Francisco Guterres Lu olo and Taur Matan Ruak not to use their power to threat barefoot people to vote for them  at  the second round  of presidential election.
He strongly appealed that; all Timorese must be free to exercise their vote not by threating them and putting their life in uncertain conditions before and after the voting day.
At his office, Aitarak laran Dili (21/3), Horta deeply laments on some statements that delivers by candidates.
He said that it is not right moment for the candidates to highlight themselves as the only party that freeing the country.
Ramos Horta in his joint press conference with Fernando de Araujo La Sama said that he is going to give his personal support for Democratic Party (PD)  to win the coming legislative election. (CJITL)
